Composition


Each mL of injectable suspension contains:

Ceftiofur Hydrochloride micronized.............54.4 mg

(Equivalent to  50 mg of basic Ceftiofur)

Excipients q.s.p............................................1 mL

Indications


Broad spectrum antimicrobial recommended for the treatment of diseases caused by germs sensitive to Ceftiofur.

Route od administration and dosage


Active ingredient dose:

  • Bovine: 1.1 – 2.2 mg/Kg of weight.
  • Pigs: 3 - 5 mg/Kg of weight.   

Product dose:

  • Bovine: 1 mL per day, for every 50 Kg of weight, for 5 consecutive days, intramuscular or subcutaneous route.
  • Pigs: 0.6 mL per day, for every 10 Kg of weight, for 5 consecutive days, intramuscular route.

Precautions


Shake well before using it. 

Warnings


Keep out of reach of children.

Guard period


Bovine:

  • Meat: 10 days
  • Milk:  0 day

Pigs:

Meat: 7 days.

This product meets the withdrawal period of 0 day for milk, established by SAG according to the maximum residue limit of 100 ppb. If the screening method SNAP is used to detect Ceftiofur, it could give a positive result because of the sensitivity of the method. 

Conservation


Keep in a cool and dry place, at room temperature between 15° and 30°C.

To be supplied only on veterinary prescription.
