The cow, in the case of the female and the bull in the case of the male (Bos taurus) are ungulate mammals from the Bovidae family.
Domesticated from 10,000 years ago in the middle-east, later the cattle raising, progressively developed throughout the planet. Early in time they were raised as working animals (pulling carts, plows, etc.) as livestock for meat, as dairy animals for milk and other dairy products; in addition to the use of the horns, the leather and dung for manure or fuel.
At Drag Pharma Laboratory we have developed veterinary medicines to use in cattle raising, approved by the animal health authority of Chile. This includes antibiotics, internal and external antiparasitics, tonics, hormones, among many other specialties.
